I made a few custom banners.  At first I wasn't feeling all too creative, so I went to my favorite free stock photo site and cropped a few images.  That eventually turned into a wee bit of editing to tweak them to my liking, and then that turned into making a handful of basic graphics without any photos. 

I'm a "basic, not boring" type of gal.  Although I do enjoy the occasional wild and crazy banner, 9 out of 10 times I'll choose a calmer option - without wading into the boring pool, of course.   My personal favorite layout on Vox is the paper airplane one.  I actually use it for my LiveJournal.

But tonight I was feeling the need to try my hand at a custom banner.  I haven't made a banner in YEARS!  I took down my personal website around three years ago and stopped customizing LJ shortly thereafter.  I still create icons from time to time, but I no longer dabble in mood themes like I once did.  Tonight, though, I got back in the saddle.  Nothing terribly amazing, but I'm still a bit rusty...give me time.
